From a Technical Conviction
to a Validated Platform
ziriz.ai was born in Bengaluru in 2023 โ at the intersection of kernel engineering expertise and a clear-eyed view of where API and application security was failing. The founding team saw that every major API breach shared a common thread: the security tool that should have stopped it was looking at the wrong layer.
We spent the first year building the core runtime instrumentation architecture โ a patent-pending sensor that operates at the kernel layer, intercepts encrypted traffic at the source without certificate injection, and enforces security policies inline before actions complete.
Then agentic AI arrived. AI agents invoking MCP tools, making API calls at machine speed, operating across enterprise systems with broad credentials โ exactly the threat model our runtime architecture was built for. While the security industry scrambled to understand the new attack surface, ziriz.ai was already securing it.
Our validation came quickly: winner of India's national Cybersecurity Grand Challenge 2.0, graduates of IISc's Cyseck acceleration programme, selected for LAUNCH Founder University by Jason Calacanis, and engaged by India's Central Bureau of Investigation technology team. Three Indian patents filed. Enterprise PoV engagements active across BFSI, SaaS, and government sectors.
